We are really proud to be supporting the charity Cash for Kids via hits radio.
Cash for Kids is a grant-giving charity helping those children that need it most across the UK.
Their mission is to improve the lives of disadvantaged children and young people in communities who are affected by poverty, illness, neglect or have additional needs.
Cash for Kids is also building a fund to provide grants to help cover the cost of essentials such as food and heating.
Our Offer
During September and October – we will be donating £5 for every new client who comes to us for laser hair removal.
Plus we have donated an additional laser hair removal treatment that will go into the Hits radio online auction goes live on 19th September.
To bid for the laser hair removal treatment you must be over 18years old. The winning bidder must attend a consultation where we will carefully go though your health to ensure that you are suitable for laser hair removal treatments.
Unfortunately we are unable to treat/remove gray/white or red hair – this is because there is not enough melanin in the hair follicle to destroy the hair.
You can bid for this for yourself or gift this to a friend or loved one and this is for a course of 6 laser hair removal treatments which will take approximately 6-9 months to complete the course.
Why are we supporting cash for kids?
I grew up in a single parent household, but I can honestly say that I never had any time in my life where I had to worry about food or being hungry, or not having clothes. I never had to worry about being cold or looked after and there were always plenty of gifts and presents for me and my family at Christmas and birthdays.
But this is not always the case for others.
My mother worked alongside organizations and charities that dealt with poverty issues and her work involved helping and supporting vulnerable adults who were facing financial difficulties. She has often talked about the ‘heat or eat’ dilemma that some families face during winter.
I was approached from Hits radio mid August asking if we would support Cash for Kids and they asked if we would be able to provide something for their online auction.
Although we are still a new business as we only set up in April 2022, we just felt that its something we could support, especially in the current financial climate and with the huge increase in energy bills just around the corner, and so we agreed to provide a full course of laser hair removal treatments.
But we felt we wanted to do a little more, so we offered to donate an additional £5 for every new customer who signs up for treatments during September and October 2022.
Jess the Charity Manager said “This is AMAZING thank you so so much for wishing to support Cash for Kids with our Online Auction!! That is so incredibly kind of you, especially as a very newly established business.
£250 vouchers for laser hair removal is amazing and we can’t wait to add this in to our auction. That’s absolutely fantastic that you also wish to donate an additional £5 per new customer in September and October too! Thank you so much for your generosity Lauren, we are so grateful for your support!!”
We are also looking to support another charity during November and we will continue to support other charities as much as we can.
